Green Guardians – Ridgeway (Bestwood)

Ridgeway is part of a neighbourhood in Bestwood, close to Southglade Park. So, not part of the Nottingham Green Guardians usual volunteer offering, but we have the opportunity to help improve the biodiversity of the area, so will be holding an event to sow wildflower meadows as part of a new project with the Housing team to create more beautiful, and wildlife-friendly streets. We also have some gorgeous spring bulbs to plant.

What to expect: Planting spring bulbs and improving the local area!

We provide: We’ll provide all of the equipment, tools and some light refreshments. We also provide spare PPE, but wearing your own gloves is encouraged if you have them. Oh, and please wear sturdy footwear.

Time: 10am (sessions last approximately 2–3 hours)
Meet at:  Meet on Ridgeway, just off Park View Drive, on street parking is free.
