Green Guardians – Moor Bridge

March 10 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Moor Bridge Nature Reserve is a small but significant wetland site in the north of Nottingham, close to Bestwood and Bulwell. The reserve sits on low-lying ground shaped by historic drainage and water management, creating a mosaic of ponds, wet grassland, scrub, and developing woodland. These damp habitats make it particularly valuable for amphibians, invertebrates, and birdlife.

Join our Park Ranger and fellow Nottingham Green Guardians to help care for this locally important nature reserve and support its continued development as a thriving habitat.

What to expect: volunteers will take part in ranger-led conservation and habitat management tasks focused on wetland and scrub environments. Activities may include scrub management, vegetation control around ponds, path maintenance, litter picking, maintaining boundaries, and seasonal habitat improvement work. All activities are guided and suitable for all abilities.

We provide: all tools, spare PPE, and refreshments. Please wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a drink to stay hydrated.
Time: 10am (sessions last approximately 2–3 hours)
Meet at: Meet at the gate at the southeast corner of the site (Bestwood Road)
W3W Location: ///hits.levels.cage
