Green Guardians – Clifton Village LNR’s

Step into Clifton Woods and Clifton Grove, hidden green gems alive with wildlife. These connected areas link to Holme Pit and the River Trent, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of old Clifton.

What to expect: plant bulbs and trees, clear scrub, remove Himalayan Balsam, maintain paths and boundaries, pick litter, and record species. All tasks are guided and beginner-friendly.

We provide: tools, PPE, and refreshments. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

You are welcome to turn up on the day; however, we encourage you to register as a Green Guardian on our website and sign up for the event in advance so our Ranger knows to expect you.
