Green Guardians – Broxtowe Country Park

October 27 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join Nottingham Green Guardians at Broxtowe Country Park, a large green space blending woodland, ancient hedgerow and open grassland. The park feels surprisingly remote once inside, yet it sits between Aspley, Broxtowe Estate, and Nuthall, making it an accessible haven for wildlife and visitors alike.

What to expect: volunteers will carry out practical conservation tasks to improve habitats for wildlife and enhance the park for visitors. Tasks may include woodland management, scrub clearance, path works, and habitat creation. All activities are guided and suitable for beginners.

We provide: PPE, tools, and light refreshments. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a drink to stay hydrated.
Time: 10am (sessions last approximately 2–3 hours)
Meet at: Broxtowe Springs, W3W ///eaten.strict.wiping
Parking: Drive into the park via Nottingham Road Entrance (postcode NG8 6AX) if arriving early. On-street parking is available nearby. Public transport is also convenient: Nuthall bus stop (Trent Barton Rainbow One) or Walbrook Close stop (NCTX 35 & 79). Additional parking is available on the estate at Woodfield or Lindfield Crescent.

You are welcome to turn up on the day; however, we encourage you to register as a Green Guardian on our website and sign up for the event in advance so our Ranger knows to expect you.
